If you are not a fan of online giving and would still like to participate with Giving Tuesday, you may donate by U.S. mail with a check or money order made payable to The Widow's Pantry, Inc, 717 Emerson Street, NW, Washington, DC 20011. You will receive a tax deductible receipt in the mail.

Your donations will allow us to be a blessing by way of a meal, warm clothing, and encouragement to those in need. Here are other ways your donation will bless others:

$21.00 will purchase 100 Prayer Follow Up Cards
$25.00 will clean 9 donated coats;
$35.00 will provide 28 bag lunches;
$55.00 will purchase 50 Christian Bibles;
$100.00 will provide a hot meal for 34 people

By the way, it is not too late to get your office, church, business, and family to participate in our annual coat drive. Call the Widow's Pantry on (202) 723-6839, or email us at widowspantry99@gmail.org to have a box for your location. As we celebrate what is recognized as the birth of Jesus Christ, we want to be a blessing to those we serve. Last year we collected over 200 coats, lets keep the tradition going.

To those who have already joined in the spirit of giving we thank you for your donation.

Our next serving date is Tuesday. December 25, 2018, from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon at Franklin Square Park.

If you see someone out in the cold this winter or know of a family needing assistance from the weather elements contact the; DC Hypothermia and Shelter Hotline: (202) 399-7093.
